I've been replaying Ledgend of Zelda Ocarina of time and apparently there's a glitch where if you save and turn off the game when you raise a water to a certain level, then save and turn it off, you make it so you permenantly cannot get into the room you need to get into to beat the temple and continue.

Well shit.

EDIT: I didn't ruin the game. Hooray. It's still playable.

Besides that I went to Witt on Friday night. Nick randomly called Erik and we went up and saw Chloe, Jarred, and Erik which was fun! But I'm never eating Taco Bell again :( I'm trying to get up there in a few weeks to see Chloe in Rocky Horror Picture Show. I need to hunt down a few people when I get there like David, who I missed saying goodbye too.

I haven't updated in forever. No excuses, I just haven't felt like doing it. So senior year came and went like that. I miss some things at Witt, mostly the people, but I'm pretty happy to be home in Cincinnati, even if there is nothing to do here. I'm not kidding. My friends and I have exhausted the movies in theaters and spend most of the time swimming or hanging out. I swear, I've been in that pool more times this summer already than all of last summer (mostly due to Ashley who's part fish or otter or seal or something). It's either that or drive around or drive to Union Boulevard or Newport on the Levy and hang out and loiter. I asked Kit what we did in high school in Cincy, and he looked at me and said high school things, marchingband, clubs, dances, etc. I said "crap".

Tonight we went to Bestbuy so he could look for a game and we would have a pleasant change of scenery. After he found the game he wanted, we wandered over to the Rock Band and Guitar Hero demo and while he played Rock Band (which needs better songs) with a group of little kids who wandered over to watch us play it, I started playing Guitar Hero and tried to get the top score in all five of the demo songs. Being the dork I am, I managed to get three of them. Priestess and The Metal are freakin hard. I got 98 and 99 percent on the other three songs.

Summer movie wise, I saw Ironman twice thanks to the theater not having ticket takers at the late showings. It was good the first time I saw it, but kinda boring the second time. But free. I saw the new Indiana Jones, which I liked, but wished was better and kinda wish they had picked a different artifact to base the plot on, even though I know they're trying to do the whole fifties pulp novel thing. I saw Speed Racer, which must be seen in an altered state of mind for the begining which is super boring. It gets a lot better near the middle so I enjoyed it, but you know, I'm glad I wasn't in a sober state of mind for that. I saw Narnia 2 which was good. The guy who played Caspian was really cute and they changed a lot of things that happened in the book, which is fine by me. I don't remember it too well since I read it ten years ago, but I think most of the time the characters wandered around the woods arguing and bitching.

I got to house sit earlier this summer which was sweet. It was too early in the summer to have to water the garden in the front and back yards, so all I had to do was water the plants on the porch and take care of the animals which made it a lot easier.

I've been helping Mom and Granma a lot around the house. Granma needed help cleaning out Granpa's old office and the back porch. Mom needed some stuff done to the backyard and some housecleaning. She also needed me to help here move her old classroom to her new one since she's teaching science, not English next year. My cat's still mad at me for being at school this semester and, like every time I come back from Witt, she's acting like she doesn't want any attention from me whatsoever, but the second I start ignoring her she gets upset and gets in my face.

Besides that I've been figuring out what I want to do. I changed my mind about attending Grad school at UC in the fall. I just want a break from school for a little bit. I'm going to work a bit then go back into it. Plus I don't know if I want to go somewhere closer to Dayton. I'm stil trying to figure all that out.

And I'm also hoping I'll be at Witt the 19th or 20th (crosses fingers), so hopefully I'll be able to see some of you guys.

Blah. I need to go ahead and edit my thesis. It's written, and all I need to do is finish the maps and edit it. I half want to go to the writing center, but I'm pretty sure they won't appreciate me walking in with a 25 plus page paper out of the blue, even with all the maps and images in it. I really don't want to look at it right now, but I have to turn it in in a month and shit happens. Besides, family problems look like they might resolve soon so I have a lot less shit to worry about.

Last Semester at Witt begins

Tommorow, my last semester at Witt officially begins at 1:50. It's going to be so weird. For the last 3 and a half years this has been my home. I feel like it went by so much faster than highschool did. I'm never going to use the stupid wittlink portal registration to register for classes again. I'm never going to fix my meal plan during the first week of school again. I'm never going to buy overpriced books in the bookstore again. Never going to have a class with keiff or Lenz again. It's just so weird.

Moving to a brighter topic, winter break came and went. It consisted of babysitting, spending time with the family and my boyfriend, and vegging out. A very nice break. Christmas was great. We had lunch at my Aunt and Uncle's and handed out presents with them, the cousins, and Granma. We didn't get to open our family presents until after that, when Liz got home. I got money, speakers for my computer, two ipod covers, slippers, and batteries. I also got season one of Heroes and a VCR/DVD player from Nick. All in all, I had a wonderful holiday off from school.

It's been a while

I can't remember the last time I updated this. Definitely not this semester, though I still read my friends pages. Any who, this semester has gone by super fast. I'm going to miss my schedule from this semester. I can't think of a better one I've had. Having no classes Friday or weds was super sweet. I really need to work on this one paper I have due Monday (but I have a little time Monday morning to work on it). My goal is to write 5 pages today at least, which probably will not happen, sigh. Bonding is tonight though, and I'm super excited. I was supposed to be at Witt right now, but Nick and I lost track of time, and nighttime creeped upon us. I should be back by six, if not earlier. It all depends on when Nick gets done with the things he has to do today. This semester has been a pretty nice one. It's been fun, thats for sure. Not too sure how my grades are gonna turn out. Nothing below a C, but a c would still suck. Hopefully I can pull up a few B minuses and B pluses, so many of my grades are borderline this semester. Oh well. I've been such a homebody this semester. I swear the only time I hung out with other people and we weren't at my house was at Seth's, Marshall's, and the Beta House.

And since I never put this up since I never posted, I have a super awesome apartment. It has a front porch and a really nice basement. My room is huge, and gorgeous. They put down new carpet before I moved in to replace the ugly carpet that was there before (think the carpet in Jeremy's old apartment). They fixed a lot over the summer. I remember having a huge wave of relief when walking in the second time on move in day. I have great roommates too.

Anyway, last week of classes finished yesterday so onward exams!

SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 85 movies, you have no life. Mark the ones you've seen. There are 239 movies on this list. Copy this list mail, go to your own facebook account, paste this as a note. Then, put x's next to the movies you've seen, add them up, change the header adding your number, and click post at the bottom. Have fun!

I watch too many movies )

Merry Christmas guys. I hope everyone's day's been good. My room's now semi clean since Mom made me clean it because Granma stayed in it last night. Christmas was a lazy day filled with spending time with family and friends, and gorging myself on Kristy, Mom, and Granma's food. My cousins and I watched tv and Liz and Adam played video games until dinner, ate too much of food we only get to see once or twice a year and exchanged presents. I got an ipod wall charger, a cd player, cash, and giftcards. After that we visited, then headed seperate directions. I'm looking forward to all the Christmas sales now since I've got some cash. I need a new cute winter coat.

Sorry for any typing errors in this, I'm hella pissed. I am so angry right now, I can't even fall asleep. Why am I angry? Because I'm stuck in a cow town of racist, redneck douches for 8 months of the year.

Why am I so angry? Because every single fucking time I go to Steak and Shake with white friends, I get decent service. It's Steak and Shake, they aren't known for their service, which is fine. What isn't fine is that every fucking time I go with Black or Latino friends to Steak and Shake the service is noticeably worse. One time a group of white people came in after us, were seated, ordered, and got their food before me, my friend, and my two house mates, all of whom are black.

This particular night started out great. Hungry after the Lambda Chi semi-formal, Jess and I dragged our other house mate out to get something to eat, and since it was one, our only option was damn Steak and Shake. We walk in, and Jess and Camilo were the only non-white people in the whole restaurant. We're seated, ignored until finally the waiter takes our drink orders. He comes back when he catches me looking at him as he waits on someone who came in after us (after ignoring my glares several times), drops off the drinks (which he never comes to refill once the entire time), and just leaves, with out taking our orders. He comes back, asks me for my order, then just looks in the general direction of Camilo and Jess to take their orders and apologizes to me about the service, not bothering to even look at Jess and Camilo. After watching people who arrive after we did continue to receive food and service faster than us for about 45 minutes, he arrives with the food and apologizes only to me again, then leaves, forgetting Jess's cheesefries and my second order of fries and my dessert. When he won't come back when we look at him while he continues to check on other tables and even when I call out excuse me, Jess has had it and raises her hand and I once again stare at him looking pissed, watching him look directly at me a few times, only to avert his eyes when he met mine. He finally comes and asks me what the problem was when other customers in the restaurant start noticing us. I say, "hey Jess, you go first", and we tell him the missing items. He apologizes once again only to me, still not acknowledging Jess or Camilo while I nod, noting that I didn't think my mouth could get even become as thin as it was at the time. By this time, Jess has a complaint card and I fill it out.

We get the food, grab the check, and go to the register. We pay and I tell the (black)waiter at the cash register about how the service is shittier whenever anyone who isn't white is with me, and the guy doesn't look surprised, especially not when I tell him which waiter it was. He even nodded his head a few times.

He asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager, but by this time everyone else wanted to just go home, so I told him just to let the manager know what I talked to him about and that I was sending in a complaint card.

So yeah. Fuck you Springfield.

I must say, one of the best computer programs ever made has to be itube. All I need to do is open itubes and itunes, and video files are downloaded and converted directly into my itunes movie library. Then all it takes is dragging the file to my ipod, letting the file save into it, and then I'm ready to go.

Woot.

So J and J are friends again, projects and papers are turned in, and I got one of my first 7 hours of sleep a night in a while. The time Card entry was fixed too. And Will might come back to Witt next semester. YAY!

I met a girl named Laura yesterday, who was from Cincy too. She lives right by Kings Island so all her friends worked there. Apparently The Beast is being torn down because it's sinking into the ground and the Vortex is being sold to some amusement park in Tokyo. ;___; I've <3'ed the Beast since I was a kid and the Vortex was fun to go on. Besides that, in the fall you got a view of all the trees that had changed colors. :(

So Wittenberg changed the timecard entry date from Nov. 1 at noon to 10 AM. I loge on at 10:10 to finish the fucking thing. bleh. I swear, every time one thing looks like it's going to get better, 5 more shitacular things enter from stage left. I'm sick of heavy workloads and impossible assignments I have to put three times as much time into them because the book doesn't give instructions well and between me and the teacher, it takes us three times to find the right formula to use. I'm sick of hearing about whiny bitches who still think they're in juinor high and try to cause drama between friends, leaving me to console the friend who was hurt (though, I havn't been involved directly with drama this year, 1 nice thing). I'm sick of ungrateful bitches that whine and whine about how hard life is because they seriously fucked up and have no one to blame but themselves and instead of looking at the good things they still have, they moon around being dark and alone. I'm sick of people who think that since two people had a fight, the whole world is ending and its so terrible and add to drama. I'm sick of inconsiderate people, cancer, apple inc., the list goes on and on.

Thank God I'm off campus and so I don't with as much of it as I would have.

I never seem to update this anymore. Or even go on it. I had to go back a page to finish reading all the entries I hadn't seen yet.

Everyone seems to be having such an exciting time in Japan. Springfield is boring as fuck not too much of a change. We still have to make up our own things to do to keep us occupied, especially since Moffet is sick again so Jess no longer has a car she can drive. The glass repairman was supposed to come on wednesday to look at her car, but he punked out and they still havn't sent someone over to do anything about it. On top of that, even though I called Time Warner to ask our account number to go on the check, they sent it to Jessica's house because they couldn't "find" the account number even though I wrote it directly on the check.

In more fun news, I have a friend Min Jeong, who's from Korea. She's soooo cute! At dinner Jessica said she didn't have a meal plan and I said I only had three meals a week. When everyone asked why not, how'd we eat, we told them we had a kitchen. Min got so excited, her eyes lit up and she grabbed my hand and asked if she could come to my house and we could cook dinner together soon. I think we're going to do it next week sometime. She lives in tower, but I'm not sure if she's staying for more than a year. A lot of the other exchange students this year are pretty cool. I met a lot of them through Min Jeong and Lauren Geary. Kyung, Louise, Somi, and Zoey are also pretty cool.

I discovered a flash animation called Charlie the Unicorn and showed it to Jess and Milo and now we walk around quoting it and singing the song from it. I think the reason we like it so much is that Jess is so Charlie that it hurts.

For Halloween I want to be Alice from Alice in Wonderland, but that all depends if this one homecoming dress goes on sale. It'd be perfect, it's freaking sweet and it's different from the one in the movie, but close enough people could tell if I put an apron over it and wore a headband.

Last night after Cigar Club was over we were all sitting around trying to think of something to do. It was Jeremy, Jessica, Jessica Crews, Becca Wilson, and David Hearnes. We decided that we wanted to go to a club
so we looked clubs up on the net and jeremy finds one in Dayton still open that has no cover fee. We get there
and walk in and all these guys with bondage stuff on and no shirts are in there.

They said, "well this is really a bondage bear club"
Really? I couldn't tell guys
they were really nice though and they told us a different club which was really nice. We got back home at 4 and hung out til 5. Twas a sweet night.

The past few weeks at Witt have been so so. Some awesome things happened, and some not so awesome. Jessica and I miss everyone terribly who's studying abroad. Our house is super cute, and it was huge for 2 people when we first moved in. Now that Camilo's living with us, it's still huge. We have a ground hog that lives under the steps that I've named Jeanie Riedle, after the woman in charge of off campus housing. We need to seriously clean up the basement. We're hoping that we can do it this weekend. We want it clean by Jess's birthday party so we can use it for her party.

After the internet people punking out on use once and then fucking up our order and trying to shove us onto other companies for things we needed, we finally were told to get a router to make a network. Now we finally have internet, but now need to figure out where to put my computer since the office is now Camilo's room. We networked the computers and sadly I'm the only person without a laptop who can't use their wireless in their own bedrooms. We're hoping we can get my comp a wireless card so I can use it in my room or the dining room.

Wittenberg stole money from my student account. Bastards. And they're forcing us to get those stupid debit cards. And I havn't even activated mine which I need to do so I can get the money I'm supposed to get back to them. That's right kiddies, now Wittenberg is charging you 10 dollars to get a fucking check mailed to you that they dropped in your mailbox last year for free. They also take a week or more to delive checks, opposed to getting them on the 15 in the mailbox. Stupid Wittenberg.

But I've met a lot of cute freshmen and I've been having fun fun fun.

RedFairy577: you're not trying to find a girlfriend online, cause I don't do that stuff and to be honest I highly doubt I would date you in real life
RedFairy577: I don't mind being friends though
RedFairy577: but zero, zilch intention of ever dating u
RedFairy577: over the net or in real life
Keyona1985: oh that is cool all I wanted is to be friends with you any way

After he asked if I had a boyfriend and dropped multiple hints, and written on my myspace "If you lived near me we would so go out!"

Yeah right dude. Especially after what he said later in the same conversation.

Keyona1985: are you looking for a boyfriend up there or not really
RedFairy577: Yeah, but I don't want to date you
RedFairy577: ever

Argghhh.
But this is adding to the whole being pursued issues. For the past 3 months it's been by either horndogs or weirdos. And it's been a bunch all of a sudden. From internet weirdos, to people I knew for awhile, to random people who see me shopping or walking the dog. Or someone who I thought hated my guts with a passion. Rahr, life.

So I have the flu. I woke up on Thursday unable to get out of bed because whenever I stood up I felt as though I was going to faint. I called off work, and took the dog outside around noon to do her business. Big mistake. I almost passed out. I had to put my head between my legs and was terrified I wouldn't make it back to the house. I went back upstairs, slept til 2, moved around a bit, and went back to bed at 11pm. Feeling fine on Friday, I went to work, took care of the plants and animals and all that jazz. But then I woke up tired, again and with a sore throat. And then tried to figure out what the hell was wrong with the comp. And when I did figure it out, what happens? Why, they can't help me until I register the damn router, which oh, by the way, I need the fucking internet to do. So then I spent the entire weekend sleeping off the flu instead of hanging out with a friend who just got back from summer classes. And since I slept in this morning, I can't fall asleep to get up at 6:30 for work tommorow. Rarh
